Three views of the Geneva lakeside construct a continuous landscape through different states of perception.

The first image opens towards distance: sky, mountains, water and the vertical rhythm of the harbour. In the second, perception concentrates around a solitary tree standing between land and water. In the third, the landscape becomes inhabited, as human bodies enter the lake and transform the space through their presence.

Across the triptych, the horizon creates a visual continuity, while the relationship between landscape and living presence gradually changes — from distance, to contemplation, to immersion.

Made during a period of intense summer heat, 37° OMEGA BLOCK is less a description of a climatic event than an observation of how light, atmosphere and human behaviour alter our perception of a familiar landscape.

The landscape is not simply something before us. It becomes a space we look at, inhabit and physically experience.
