Thai Artist Living In Switzerland and Thailand

Siripoj Chamroenvidhya is a Thai contemporary artist born in Bangkok in 1957, living and working between Geneva and Bangkok.

Trained at the École supérieure d’art visuel (ESAV) in Geneva, his practice moves between drawing, painting, photography, installation and artists’ books. His work explores the fragile boundary between the visible and the imagined, where landscape, memory and perception emerge through matter, light, black and white, and the accidents of the creative process.

Drawing and photography occupy a central place in his practice. From charcoal on paper to analogue photography developed and printed in the darkroom, he approaches the image as a space of experimentation—somewhere between observation and mental landscape.

Since 2010, he has also developed curatorial projects connecting artists from Thailand and Switzerland. Since 2017, he has collaborated with Swiss-Armenian poet Vahé Godel on limited-edition artists’ books, creating a dialogue between image and poetry.

His works are represented in public collections in Geneva and Bangkok.
